Why did 20 people decide to cross the road at a little red man?

To nearly cause a massive bicycle to humans interface.

Me and two other cyclists pulling emergency stops amid pinging of bells and shouting has left me confused.
Bloody cyclists.

They figured there was little chance of the bikes stopping at their red light so nothing lost by walking

Bridges/Royal Mile junction? Though that's usually the jaywalking hotspot of the tourist season. With extended times on traffic light sequences to accommodate trams, jaywalking is now the fastest way to get around anywhere near Princes Street.

Its the Sheep Effect. First person probably had a look and figured he could get across safely. The idiots behind him just assumed the light had changed and moved off. Sheep do it. And goats. And lemmings.

Saw a nasty collision on the way to the station tonight.

Two pedestrians running towards each other 'cos the red man was showing and cars were coming. BOOM!!! they hit each other and knocked each other to the ground ๐Ÿ˜†
