I have a set of Oro brakes and the lever on the front one is almost pulling to the bar once a set of pads are about half worn. The brakes still slow me down but the lever nearly sqaushes my fingers. I put a new set in and the lever has way less travel and is far more convincing.
Should the lever/brake be doing this when the pads are only half worn?
They were bled recently which helped a lot but this issue isnt really inspiring me with regard to being able to stop.
Other brakes i've had the pistons move in with the pads.
Any tips greatfully accepted

K24's? I had this- a proper professional bleed by someone who knows the brakes 'should' cure it.
Sorry to hijack the thread for a minute - Willv - don't suppose you still have the hub on this thread: http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/fs-sram-hope-fsa-msr-xtr there aren't any contact details for you?
Do this, to the letter
I did mine as above and they're perfect
When I went to bleed mine, I had to flush the hose out before I could transfer fluid between Syringes.
Loads of crap came out and then they bled fine. Make sure you have fluid present at the nipple before putting plug back in at the end of the bleed. (and make sure pistons are fully retracted)
