Orange StageEvo with Hope carbon crank - clearance issue?

Hi all. So I’ve fitted a Hope carbon crankset to my 2024 (with UDH) Orange Stage Evo and the drive side crank arm clearance feels very tight. It’s too tight to fit the rubber protective boot on the crank - non drive side is fine. 

gears are set up fine (X01 AXS) and it rides fine but the lack of clearance bothers me - and I’d really prefer to fit the crank protector!!

anyone else running this combo or have other orange frames with hope carbon cranks? 

considering a small spacer in between crank and BB but this will throw the chain line out even further
