What is the best chainstay protector, don't really want to tie a inner-tube round it etc.
Would like to but a ready made one.
Anyone recommend one...thanks
Chain slap or heel rub?
If it's chain slap a bit of copter tape around the bottom has been more than adequate for the last 3 years without changing it.
Bike shop in Afan was selling a cloth skin for the swing arm
But my swing arm is taped
Just ride it bare, it'll get scratched anyway.... 😉
Lizard skin do one, I bought one from my LBS, shaped for the swing arm.
Yeah, go for the helicopter tape. I've just done the same with my Meta.
The fuzzy side of a bit of self-adhesive velcro, carefully applied to a clean swingarm and left to dry properly. Doesn't come off, and does a perfect job of protecting the swingarm from chain damage.
