Building up a orange Five 29 for SO and the front mech is an e type, so bought one from Merlin slx variety but the frame nor the mech came with bolts..what size bolts do I need?
I have to fit the mech directly to the mounts on the frame..??.. I think this is. A yes....but the mount is a an angle, so one mount hole is longer than the other so giving an angle..is this correct or do I need to add washers behind the mech?
The mech looks like it will hit the frame in Grammy, is it a case of setting the stops to prevent or using washers?
Thanks for the help....I thought this would be simple....
I put mine together on my Five Alpine 29 without the washers and it's fine.
I just used a couple of ti rotor bolts I had lying about.
Once the stops are set it should be fine.
