Having a tough time of late, got taken into hospital for surgery on monday, bit of a shock in itself, now im bed bound covered in stitches and unable to ride the bike for a good 2 months.

Least i got to ride my new build once before the shock/suprise doctor phone call.

Ah well head up and i best dust off the xbox.

Chap at the velodrome bought one of these,

Rode it three times and then fell off it and shattered his collar bone, almost 4 months off the bike.

Just built by old stuff onto a 456 and spunked some money on some other trik bits for it, test rode it and my knee had an anoying twinge afterwards, the kind of twinge that says "I'm going to get worse and have you off bikes again for 2 years".

Hope you get better quickly. I'm the same fell of my bike last weekend and broke my collar bone. Going to be off 6-8 weeks too and I have a new hardtail coming this week after waiting 10 weeks for it!

I can sympathise. AC speraration on the left shoulder. Told I could try the road bike for a bit this week. I was really looking forward to it but it seems that's not going to happen. Must be worse than I thought! Another month at least.

Cheers LoCo, one good thing was i did get to ride the forks you sorted and i can't thank you enough.

They felt perfect especially after being on old MX comps.

Can't wait to get out again because this is doing my head in.

I know that watching MTB films may not be the best thing at the mo - but this is a good one:

On The Line - great film to watch in 2 parts + it's free.

Hope you get over it soon, I'm off the bike until at least November/December so I sympathise. ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

Now just need to try and find something that doesn't require any physical effort to prevent me getting bored and grumpy. That will be internet forums then! ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Get better soon - maybe you can get on the trainer before you can go out properly, so you'll be a bit fitter?!?

I'm off riding too, with a back problem and probably another month to go. To make it worse I bought a motorcycle two weeks before I was injured!

I stuffed it on the second ride on my Hemlock... 6 weeks off work, 3 months off a bike, 4 months until off-road again. It sucks and you have my sympathy!
