Hi guys,
probably a very old question but I cannot seem to find the answer and On one have taken down their info.
I've just bought a whippet and want to know what type of single ring chain device I need - is it the E Type or D Type fitting?

Can you not just use a thick-thin chainring?

I don't have a clutch mech unfortunately!

Read on here that you might be ok with just the ring. Not running it myself, though (yet), so no experience.
