Well - you seem to like the look of the Ragley, judging by the other thread. That's a start!

Isn't the Ragley quite a bit lighter? The Summer has plain gauge tubes IIRC.

im struggling with the same thing but a normal 456 or a blue pig. The pig looks better and like its had a lot of thought gone into it but i cant quite get my head around the set up measurements and i know how a 456 rides also doesnt help that the same fella designed them lol so they may ride similar or poles apart 🙂 any one got any pix of their pig with size stem length post extension and their height to give me some pointers 🙂

i'm stuck with the same problem. i'm drawn to the summer season, cos it's nice and slack with 100mm forks.

to get the nice angles on a pig, you'll need 140mm forks.

(Brant was right about long-forks onna hardtail)

(and you can get some nice / good / cheap 100mm forks)

mi©k- I personally think you should try something new otherwise its same old? Calderdale isnt too far from Leeds- you could have a test spin on one of Brants first?

PS. Is 7pm ok? Steve (bro in law) is coming up from Doncaster on his way home to Hudds.

In the time since he designed the 456, do you think he'll have got better or worse at designing bikes? 😉

Are you sure you don't need to ask Brant more questions on Twitter first? 😉

mi©k, could you wind my bro in law up for me? Could you add in leaving 'oh dont forget you owe Mark still for the Goose'. That should redface him 😉

EDit- Its a Christmas day bit of poultry of course before anyone thinks its some sort of 'act' 🙄

I had a 456 and it was good but my new blue pig is so much more fun to ride and also looks loads better. better pedaling efficiency cos of the reinforced BB and slightly more upright seat tube, which is defo a plus 🙂
