I'm intrigued by the saddle. Can't imagine it enables all that much control.

Agreed. A standard double diamond frame does look a bit shit and will never catch on.

Afterall most mainstream frame builders would agree that a double diamond frame is a bit shit and too difficult to make on a mass scale.
