If anyone is interested ? Saturday the 26th November , thinking of starting at Lydeard Hill for a change .I'm probably going to make some Flapjack but don't let that put you off !Will also be a pub stop and as anyone who is a veteran of these occasions will testify the emphasis is definetly not on racing !!!!!Will be ably assisted by Mr Knott and i think some of the usual suspects will be in attendance .So if a Quantocks moan/bitch fest with beer appeals let me know .Aiming for a 10 o clock (ish) start so that we can show any newbies a load of the best bits .

Bagborough? Cothlestone? WTF is this on K-Pax? (I'm watching it at the moment).

I like birthday bike rides but that looks potentially north and frozen...

I'll be there! Only just seen this thread - is it meet Lydeard Hill then? That map doesn't mention Lydeard so bit confused.

It is when you know the way knottie ๐Ÿ˜‰

Shane can give you a lift if you want one? Will drive through Bridgwater.

Planning to make cake tomorrow night as well oldfart! It'll be "after ride" cake, so should complement your "during ride" cake nicely ๐Ÿ™‚

Did someone say 'cake'? (leans slightly & elevates nostrils in an 'Ahhh, Bisto' stylie).

Is this ride open to all-comers? I've not been to the Quantocks before but if I can get the MIL to childmind I'd be up for it..

Cheers for that. I'll have to decline this time, just found out the mother in law's off the the 'midlands for the weekend, so I've got the kids.. Another time eh, as it would be great to hook up with people who know the area (I'm in Lyme).

Mike.

gonna ride up from taunton, nice 9 mile uphill warm up so I'm gasping from beer, cream teas and other b'day nutritional intake .

I maybe however late or non there due to continued intake of Guinness since 6pm.

I call it a protein shake so if I. climb well tomorrow, you know my poison.
