[Closed] Ogliastra Sardinia – singletrack descent the Alps would be proud of

Two Slovenian bikers who'd been staying with us here on the east coast of Sardinia just did a 1000m vertical descent singletrack here, and commented “[b]Thank you again for the great trail, around 1000m singletrack descent. Wouldn’t be shamed in Alps[/b]“. They followed [url= http://itinerari.mtb-forum.it/tours/view/2220 ]this route description[/url] but kept descending to the Co 'e Serra bridge along a well-signed footpath[img] [/img].
Their description isn't that surprising, since the mountains here rise to over 1000 m within 20 km of the coast.
