I cant find a BB for my wifes scott Genius having taken the old one off.

Its a ES51 73E type 126mm axle .

Any ideas where I can buy one?

You might struggle as these were not imported into the UK as an aftermarket product.

I have phoned my 4 nearest LBS no joy, or CRC or any of my usual on line!

Jim,

I'll have a look when I get home if you want. Bought a new bike last week and swapped a load of bits from the old one over and am needing to sell what I took off.

Definately Octalink and 73 wide, but i'll have to check axle length if you're interested. Only ever ridden round the carpark when trying the bike for size.

The one in your link is not E type.

Yep looked at maddison but not an E Type.
If yours is Slackmann I would be very interested.

I believe E type is needed to accomodate the e type front meck

sorry but no there is only 118 not 126mm in E type

Are you 100% sure it's 126mm? That either gives you a very large chain line, or you're not using Shimano cranks?

If you have sufficient clearance between your chainrings and chain stay, you'll be able to run a more narrow BB without issue, just have to tweak your front der.
