It must be 7 years since I last rode this, has been sat unloved in the shed following a scrape with a car that put me off sharing the road with psychopathic and entitled drivers.
Decided to dust off the cobwebs and start riding to work again, not a long way - 13km through the Black Country, but I'm seeing more cyclists on the road so maybe I won't be the target I used to sometimes feel like.
Anyway, a dust down, replaced a tube, oiled the chain and it rode perfectly. Have dug the pannier bags out and am ready to go. I had to take the mudguards off as they were too bent of shape to use...
Anyone else resurrected an unloved bike back into service?
