Hi,

My bottom bracket currently has a few mm of play in it, there's no grinding or creaking from it, but I assume it needs replacing. Should I replace now or leave it till it gets worse?

I've made mistakes when buying BBs in the past and have since left it with my LBS to be sorted, but this time I'm trying to sort it on a budget. From the photo below, can someone confirm that the one I've linked to here -
ES51 @ Woolly Hat Shop - is the correct replacement or is there more to it than that?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Cheers,

Verses

Cheers. Is it worth sorting it now or will a few mm of play not be a problem?

Do the job. It'll only get worse quickly.
