Seeing those lights in my basket eavery day since the price dropped has meant that I finally pushed the button and got a set. The review in issue 55 helped, too.
Now that I've got them, I'm not sure if all is well. The light is nice and bright, the battery time is good, but some of the kit doesn't do what I was expecting. They've offered to take them back, but if they're all like that then I'm happy to keep them and avoid the faff. Can anyone who's got them answer these?
1) I've got the 4 cell (extreme) version, but the charger is marked up as the 2 cell version - what does yours say?
2) I was expecting the flashing modes to be constant on, with higher intensity flashes. Mine is on/off flashes in three different patterns. None of them have the light constantly on lower power between the pulses.
3) Is there no low battery indication on the head unit? Seems a waste of a two colour LED there. The battery will be hidden god knows where on my bike (Whyte 46 with DUC32s).
Any help would be much appreciated!
