well I don't believe it could hurt (as it's a lube of types) but you really need to use a proper lube or grease the pivots

Yeah I don't have time to strip it down before the next ride & my Blur is squeaking like mad...embarrassingly loud. I'm thinking the silicon spray shouldn't penetrate into the bearings like GT85 could...I hope.

Depends what the carrier fluid is. I'd say its just as likely TBH, although an occasional spray like you're talking about isn't going to do anything bad.

If its the 3 in one silicone stuff (WD40 own 3 in one) then dont bother .
