...got an email from the GF today saying "I saw these [grip rings] and thought you might like them for your bike"

Regardless of whether or not I like them, she is now finding bike things that I didn't even know existed.

I am so proud of her, but I feel like I'm letting myself down somehow...
Surely that's all the justification I need for expensive new bike bits? ๐Ÿ™‚

They sell those in Anne Summers too. Something to do with 'pegging' whatever that is. Tell me when you find out. ๐Ÿ™‚

Look at the website, you can build your own grips, not available until July though.

DB - you sure your Doris don't work for their marketing dept?

Edit: the shoreditch clan will love these ๐Ÿ˜‰

You only need to know about those if you actually wear your wifes jeans.

I didn't know about them either. I was really proud of the wife today when she pointed out to methat the reverb stealth was going to be available aftermarket.

Keep 4 bikes in my room most of the time. Girlfriend came in one evening, had a quick glance around, turned to me, and said

"You've changed something about that one haven't you? Moved the bars down..? No.. You've put the seat up a bit right?"

I'd raised the saddle by about 1cm earlier that day whilst riding. She doesn't ride bikes at all, and probably couldn't even tell a rubber queen from a high roller. I was both freaked out and impressed.

I was both freaked out and [s]impressed[/s] really scared when I realised that there was no way that I'd ever get away with a sneaky hidden upgrade without her noticing.

FTFY.

I like those. I mean, they're obviously pointless, and most probably useless too but they'll serve their place on obviously pointless and most probably useless bikes, like the one in the picture.

Do they come as lock ons? If not then theyre a bit pointless IMO.

PP, they're for fixietw..s. Therefore, Lock On is irrelevant as it's not "retro" or "classic" or "niche" or "scene" enough.
