And an old school head tube when everyone is going oversize to better mate to an equivalent size top tube plus a stiffer fork.
Seems a pointless downtube without a decent size top tube/head tube.

not a fan of the huge downtube next to skinnier tubes, looks fat-bellied rather than sleek, and IMHO deep section rims look weird with skinny tubes.
Was properly wowed by one of these in the flesh (paint scheme really swings it) -2010 FDJ Rep.
