Has anyone done this or planning to do it on Sunday?

I’m planning to ride 30mm tyres, tubeless in my gravel bike. As the trails will be dry do you reckon that’s a good choice?

Thanks

35 mm will be more comfy. All dry out there and riding lovely*.
*don't know the exact route but Rapha have used a lot of "my" byways and tracks for their off road adventures.

Nope I umm and ahhed about getting and entry and now it’s sold out. Haven’t got a gravel bike - either full roadie or a carbon xc Hardtail which probably would be fine but def more mtb than gravel.

Last year’s route is my stomping ground. The bit well east of the canal from Epping to Leytonstone can be mightily muddy after rain.

Will be there Sunday. Going with 42c Resolutes...as that’s what I’ve got (alternative being 38c Compass slicks) and they’re comfy, if a bit draggy. Looking forward to it, been a while since we’ve ridden up that way. Not especially looking forward to the 5.30am start to get there for sign-on though.

Say hi if you see a bleary-eyed bloke on a Reilly riding with a mad Frenchman on a Sonder 🙂

One of the best events I’ve done in ages. Helped massively by perfect weather - G One Speeds 30c worked brilliantly

Glad you enjoyed it!

Have either of you got a GPX or strava link I can have a look at?
