Does any of the north lakes residents have a pannier rack that is width adjustable, i'm having a short tour with the family next week and all of my racks are far too narrow to fit on the gravel carbon frame.

Do you mean that the legs are to narrow to go around the stays onto the mounts?
Just flex them on.

thats what I do - "cold set" ie bend the legs to fit

I've looked at that but they are way to narrow for that on current rack
