The maintenance free Norglide bushes on the shock pivot have had it after about 6 months (admittedly hard) use 😡 . These are the 15mm top hat bushes made from a pressed brass(?) insert with a PTFE coating. I am guessing these things are pretty generic and come in a range of sizes and are not specifically made for just one bike. With that in mind does anyone have a good (cheap) source of them so I can get a good stock and change them out every few months. For what they are I would expect them to retail for no more than 20 pence each, but knowing MTB industry they will be more than likely £20 a pair
When I say shock pivot I refer to the rocker between the rear triangle and the lower shock bush and not the bush on the end of the shock itself (I have upgraded that one already)
Try the evening shift. Anyone?
Does someone like Ondrives do what you're after?
Will check it out, thanks for the idea. Luckily I have the catalogue here somewhere. Didn't think of them.
You beauty! They certainly have them (or something very similar that will work). Just need to check the sizes, though I think they will be generic and there is a full range there to choose from. Looks like being about £2 a piece which sounds about right. I have had stuff from them before so happy to give em a go. Will report back.
If anyone else has any other ideas happy to here from them.
Thanks again Simwit
