Please try to keep the s****s to a minimum!
First time latex user today! Bought a Spesh Eliminator and Slaughter to go on my hardtail.
Eliminator front went up a doddle with a cheap park tools pump.
So to the back tyre. Pressure gauge showing nothing near what I thought would have been to blow! Tyre flies off sealant all over me, bike and washing on the line looking at my rim it's totally cracked it in half.
Is this common?
How do you add a picture on here?
Also can anyone recommend a decent cheap 27.5 rear wheel 142x12 🙁
I've had tyres blow off but never crack a rim! Maybe crack was already there?
I’m guessing you saved yourself having that rim implode mid-ride (though that would have been less messy!)
Well it's more than a crack it's totally gone through the whole rim.
Not done more than a couple of dozen tubeless tyre fitments but can’t imagine that happening unless the rim was already crocked...
What rim/wheel is it?
