Following on from some past threads about the updated version of Nokia's Sports-Tracker, I thought interested people might like to know that the website has just started taking pre-orders for bluetooth heartrate belts by Polar that can be used in conjunction with Sports-Tracker.
I've already ordered mine but the site was playing up slightly!

Zephyr technology also have theirs in stock, but I'm avoiding buying one because it is $100 and my phone is a N900, which is a bit too costly to tool around on bike rides with.
I looked into the Zephyr one a while back but the price put me off. Didn't seem to be an easy way to order one either. Just glad Sports tracker are selling them now....
I'm jealous of your N900 and understand why you wouldn't take it out with you - my N97 was meant to be a power device but it's way to buggy.

Right, so they finally release the HR belt, two years too late, just when nokia announce that they're discontinuing the symbian operating system that sportstracker runs on (at least for high end smartphones). Doh.

As I understand it, sports tracker is now not a part of nokia, wouldn't be surprised to see the software appear on new OS's in the future.
