Compatible in what way, with what?
Various Nokia (Withings) watches. They're compatible with their own app and bunch of other fitness apps (not sure if you have to use their app to sync to the others though).
Or you want a watch that's compatible with Nokia's app, but isn't a Nokia watch?
Or something else?

It's a present and have no idea about such things.
I'm thinking a nice looking watch that's compatible with Nokia's app bit not a Nokia watch. music functionality not necessary but could do with the ability to pay using it.

Don't think you'll get a non-Nokia watch talking to the Nokia app (although i'm happy to be corrected. Why not just get a watch like a FitBit Ionic and use the FitBit app?
