what makes disc brakes noisy?
disc pattern
pad material
disc material?
Contamination?
Poorly aligned calipers.
i have been reading about ti disk rotors being very noisy ,,
if there hope brakes its part of the deal. pads have a heap to do with it. the less metal in them the less the noise. try some different pads maybe organic ones x
Keep the rotors clean i have juicy 7's and they used to be noise until i used muc off disc cleaner.
Contaminated or badly set up

i had badly sqeeling brakes (new 2nd hand bike), replaced pads, i always re-align my calipers every time the wheel is put back in, clean calipers with hot water hose after every (dirty) ride and if you like to apply wd40 after washing your bike then shield the rotors and calipers.
squeel has stopped and brakes bite good and proper.

older style hope minis.. perfectly aligned /frame faced etc/discs sanded and cleaned with IP alcohol ...new or old pads always squeal when wet ....however some are a nightmare noise wise whilst others (I like Koolstop) are tolerable.
my SLX make very bad noises when wet... I have given up!
Any TIPS??? ta
