Hi,
What are my options other than disc brakes?
Would magura rim brakes work?
Or is it just using a v brake plate?

the maguras use your vbrake mounts.

Ask cynic-al, im sure he's got some parcel tape and spoons he could help you with.
Seriously though, I'd be looking for a set of disc brakes, if the frame has no bosses, the tubes may not have strength in the right place to take loading from the brakes.
