Anyone know the size of the torx bit required for DT Squorx nipples? I know I can but a DT tool but hoping to just get a bit for a normal driver to save a bit of cash..
I couldn't find a non DT one so I bought the proper tool. Built the entire wheel without a traditional spoke key, found it much easier to be honest.
The tool is so cheap... not worth buggering about with anything else I reckon.
It's £15 for, basically, a screwdriver tho 😕
I'll wait til I get the bits and see if I can find an E-Torx socket that fits.
Just made one using a rotor bolt screwed into a t-bar. The rotor bolt is 25 torx which is the same size as the head of the squorx nipple. Should be plenty good enough for the initial build and then tensioning with a normal spoke key 🙂
