Thinking of running my Niner SIR as 1 x 9.
Front chain guide needs to be seat tube mounted not BB.
Any ideas or does anyone want to sell one.
Please same me from having to bodge a front mech.
So far I have the following ideas: -
Rohloff will fit but expensive.
Pauls not as expensive (but can you get them in the UK).
DMR very ugly, don't fancy.
MRP Very Very Very expensive.

The BB mount superstar one works a treat once set-up, & the actual "cage" part on the one above looks identical so it should be good. Had they been available I'd have got the type above. Although the BB mount comes with shims, it doesnt help if its sitting too far inwards to start with as it can only be shimmed inwards. (If that makes any sense...) 😕
The Pauls one can be ordered from their website, but its expensive.
How about going with an alfine hub?
Would keep the chainline cleaner and allow easier conversion of you want to run SS.
No need for a chain guide and can make proper use of the EBB
