Just a short note to reflect on only the second night ride of the season. First was a slog fest through 3 inches of snow that was freezing over thick mud. It was hellish, could hardly ride anywhere.
Last night? Balmy 15 degress C, three of us, fully charged lights, bikes all working (my new El Cap still utterly stunningly composed), dry even dusty trails, quick 1.5hr blast round local woods, crashing down forest staircases and popping off roots. Back my back porch for beer and crisps by candlelight.
Bloody marvellous. I love this biking lark.
