The Diddie Schneider trailbuilding boot is constructed from the ground up to provide the best protection and traction while building the sickest trails. Whether you're swinging a chainsaw over your head, clearing dense jungle-like-brush, or in a earth mover building a 40 foot dirt jump, you're going to want this boot on your feet.
Erm, how about a pair of proper work boots instead? ๐
That looks like orthopedic footwear
Whether you're swinging a chainsaw over your head,
Oh goodie, so they're EN ISO 17249:2007 Class 2 compliant booties!?!
Hmm actually I think probably not....
Sure, but how many EN-approved saw boots do you want to ride your bike in?
I think it's half stunt tbh, they've still not got round to doing a goretex Impact or hightop Freerider and that seems to make a lot more sense market-wise, relatively few people build trails and how many of those are going to buy a trailbuilding shoe?
Are they still made out of cardboard?
Chainsaw-resistant cardboard
Hmm. Think I'll stick with my free work boots thanks.
I assume you mean TehKay Maxxx?
I think they look pretty good.
You could always wear a pair of TK Max skate shoes instead of other 5.10 shoes for riding so don't see the difference with these.
They do seem to be pitched as a building / riding shoe too. I wouldn't fancy riding in my Dr Martin steel toe capped and soled work boots that I normally wear for trail building.
They are a lot of money though.

Just like the rest of the 5:10 range then......
I think I've just invented one:
THE DESERT WADER
Sandal at the bottom, wader at the top. Dragons den here i come
They actually look perfect for the winter we've just had, were can I buy?
