A bit like feet-forward motorcycles, technically on the ball, practically pointless...

I think it could do with a few more pivots and bearings, personally.

saxon was the first they were ripped off by BMW ALEGIDLY

but in my opinion it still has the dissadvantages of telescopic forks
stiction increases with load

it doesnt seem to have much travel before the bottom link hits the headtube guessing 100mm

but take a look at the top pic,, the fork inners seem to pass right through the outer parts,, otherwise they would put the axle on the gold part,,, interested now ,,,

is there even any need for this kind of "innovation" inside the mountain bike industry?

I did like the look of the intense 951 29er though.

Depends how fast you are going. Although as Tony Foale says about FFE (funny front ends)"interest in these types of front suspension is very limited".

Macavity

I have been doing a little reading the fork seems to operate from both ends giving up to 9 inches of travel,,

they say that each end has a different function bottom part for jumping and top for bumps ,,,, still thinking how two different spring rates can work in series ..

i am all for inovation ,, and still think telescopic forks are the work of the devil

Nearly 2 years old judging by the date on the link as well. I think you missed the bus on being outraged about that.
