Been looking to try some more modern geometry for a while now - since a demo on a Tarn hardtail.
Been riding a Turner Sultan and decided to try going back to hardtail, and an offer on a titanium Titus Fireline frame came up I couldn't refuse.
Had my first proper go on it today up in the Pentlands. Still a bit icy to really test it out, but it certainly feels good on flowly tracks.

Quite happy with all the parts I've got on it
Titues Fireline 20" ti frame. Hope headset, seatclamp and Uberbike BB
Pike RC 140mm forks
1x10:
Middleburn Uno cranks and 30t ring, Superstar plastic flat pedals
Sunrace 10-40 cassette
Saint shifter
XTR deraillieur
Hope Race Evo X2 front brake and Tech 2 Evo rear, 160/180
Front is maxle, rear thru axle/QR-135/10mm
Hope Evo 2 hubs with Stans ??? rims and Hans Dampf/XR4 tubeless 29x2.4"
Specialized Command Post dropper + Fizik ??? saddle
Bontrager 720mm carbon bars
Brand X 40mm stem
And comes in around 11kg on the bathroom scales of truth.
The frame is a little bigger than I'd normally go for, but the short stem seems to help and the head angle puts the wheel out further.
Does just seem to be a bit more ..confidence inspiring.. than the Sultan
That is an impressive wall for a back garden.
Needs more purple anodising...nice looking bike though!
Looks lovely mate!
Yeah, it's a very nicely made frame and very easy to build up.
it did come with two purple bits (bottom headset cup and seatclamp), but without trying, everything is else is red.
If I keep it I'll get red bits to placate my inner tart.
It's just a bit annoying that the ground is so muddy and icy just now I can't really get it up to speed to see how it handles getting rattled off rocks and jumps properly
nice that.enjoy it.
