I'd probably have one but it's disc only and therefore GHEY.

You need to get out of the Fens. This is a mountainbike forum 😉

Edit: nice looking bike

Surely in the video with flat bars it is just a hybrid?

I bet roadcc's forum is ablaze with angry roadies moaning about cx content 😀

It looks like a bike and bikes are fun. I'll have one in green with Saint brakes and Renthal Fatbars please. I'd rock the balls off it on my paper round.

what he said, that beer can head tube looks a bit out of place on an otherwise ok looking bike (not that I normally rate aesthetics highly). Swing dropouts look clever, wonder how they fair in real world use.

Oh and it's a transition, don't they normally cost a packet?

That is about £400 English but no doubt by the time they give UK price it will double!

Actually it looks weird in the side view. The headtube is so much fatter than the fork.

Add some gears and a carbon fork then it'll do

if scud's maths is right, id consider 400 reasonable (actually just about to pay a bit more than that for a frameset), I also reckon scud is right with x2 for uk prices which I would consider "a packet"

I like the look of it, might not end of the summer when I'll be looking to buy my next bike.

£400 is great value when you look at other frames at that price.

Not a Transition. It's a Crusade, from Traitor.

Nice, otherwise.

Is that a tool-free wheel change at 1.27? That looks pretty impressive for a single speed...

SS shep yep but doubt that will be the price, but maybe that's just my cynicism showing.

Oh yeah cheeky transition

Shermer pretty sure most SS systems are tool free wheel changes (EBB, adjustable dropouts, tensioner) only slot dropouts where you have to fanny around with tugs or bolts. (but I've only actually used slot dropouts and tensioner systems so not 100%)

Aren't Transition and Traitor part of the same group though? Maybe an SSCX appealed more to Transition's customers than Traitor's.

I like the forks... And it'll make it easier for Nukeproof to[s] copy[/s] design a CX bike next year.

Traitor Cycles= Transition Bikes, and vice versa.
Same owners.

Warpcow, I believe that to be the case, yes. I'd have said it was a better fit in the Traitor line up, but perhaps they feel Transition has better brand coverage or something. (Which it does, obviously)

the head tube/fork interface is a bit of a mess aesthetically, imo.

Transition and Traitor do indeed have the same owners.
UK price is £499 frame and fork.

Let us know if anyone wants one 😉

I like it, I want one.
I love my SS cross bike and one with discs would be even better.

BikeS****y are doing these as well, and 0% apr.

So how much would that be with the standard STW purchasing option of 0%, topcashback card, etc ?

Yep £499 is likely to be the UK RRP.

Likely to be available from March.

We'll have them on 2 years 0% finance = £19 a month.

I quite like the look of those Ghey hybrids.

*Goes to put some silly wide DH bars (that arrived in the post this morning) on his Ghey hybrid.

Say this the other day - one with carbon forks looks better imo - tempted to build one as a relaxed road bike with single ring, clutch and bar end shifter
