I'm in need of help!
I'm after a new trail bike, mostly for use in the Kent/Surrey areas with occasional trips to Wales and maybe enter the odd enduro etc.
I equally enjoy the ups as well as the downs so am keen not to be "over biked" but equally want something that will hold up to hitting jumps, rocky sections and the like!
I've narrowed my choices down to the following -
Whyte t130
YT Jeffsy
Specialized Stumpjumper FSR
Specialized Camber
I'm slowly leaning more towards the camber as it's likely to carry more speed over the flatter ground I'll typically ride but am concerned that it'll struggle on the rougher stuff?
Does anyone have any experience on both the Camber and the t-130/Stumpjumper to comment on uphill pedaling/general trail plugging speed?
Alternatively, does anyone have any experience of how much abuse the camber can deal with?
any advice would be great!
thanks all!
Anyone else have any advise/input?
Transition Smuggler. So right, its wrong!
When do you want to buy it? You'll really struggle to find a Whyte T130 until they release their 2017 models. (actually Alpine bikes have a XL SCR but with the Rev fork, not the Yari).
I was looking at a T130 and they said there should be some coming in sometime in July. Didn't seem that confident though.
