Nextie wild dragon Carbon rims.....stock Maxxis Mammoth tyres

I'm currently running between 6-7 front and 7-8 rear

I can't seem to get the right pressure, it's either "pogo stick" or "rim dinging"

We have rocky descents, plantation, XC,mud etc

What pressures are you running guys?

You need to keep it above rim dinging, some pogo ing is unavoidable.

I usually run around 7psi front, 9psi rear (On One Fatty running Floaters with tubes in on std On One Wheels). Tried going down to 6psi on the front but it felt a little too ready to roll off the rim. Back end can get a bit bouncy when pedalling, but changing gear and spinning as smoothly as possible helps.

Get a digital pressure gauge. I have the Schwalbe one.

Even 1/2 psi is a lot when you're in the single digit psi range...

All depends on terrain but 8 is a good starting point. If your pogoing then that's more to do with your pedal technique than tyre pressure. Low pressure will just eccentuate any bob so if your pedalling in squares you'll get bounce.
Fat tyres take no prisoners but it's great for improving your peddling technique.
