I had a mare with mine - must have been a faulty one, but the alu lever must have been burred and sunsequently caught against the brass washer assembly at the clamp, on it's very first use the damage was so bad that the lever would only half close so i couldn't secure the post.
It's gone back to Wiggle, who have refunded me - and promised a replacement bizarrely, I have yet to see the replacement.
I'm happy with my QR wheel Hope's and suspect this is a one-off, but it's a shame, it looked nice and bling with a full matching set of QR's!
I had exactly the same experience as el_creedo. Completely fubarred first time of using it - that's what happens when you use Wensleydale for bike parts.
Went back to UK Bike Store who replaced it with a Salsa - no brass washer but at least it works and looks lovely.
Very good and the lever doesn't snag on me shorts!
(Need to keep the brass bushing greased though)
