Blimey Bigman, thats some hatred!

For what its worth I'm pretty sure that although a bunch of the guys shop in Dartmoor Cycles and some ride for his team the Woodland Riders itself are a separate club and not 'owned' by Dartmoor Cycles.

Sounds good, looking for a sort of novice friendly DH event - I've only ever ridden Cwmcarn on a five with DH tubes and 2.35 single plys you see.

Checked out some of the vids and the course looks good.

woodland riders is a club run for rider by riders. it is run by volunteers and any profit made will be put back into the club and local riding.

none of the organisers will be taking any kind of payment for the huge amount of work it will take to put this race series on.

If you have an issue with Derek at Dartmoor Cycles then I suggest you take it up with him personally.

I have already, don't worry.....

Tavistock offers some good tracks with lots of flow and a variety of different tracks. Its well worth the visit but a bit out of the way...

Whoa there BIGMAN.

The guys at woodlands have put in loads of effort with chipshop and Gawton. A big hats off to them for promoting the sport, organising local races, and giving DH'ers in the south west some proper trails.

There is a similar but lower key DH series run on our local DH tracks. Its got me well into it, bought a full fezza and improved my riding, got much more respect for the DH riders, they are alot more positive and encouraging than peeps at an XC/ Enduro event.
