My middleburn x-type uno needs a new chainring (32).
Tried buying it from one place who then had no stock.
BETD haven't got 32 either.

Chainset is over 5 years old (not too old, but my mate recently snapped his) so I'm thinking for £99 I can just get an SLX 11 speed complete chainset from Merlin.

Anyone tried the shimano 11 speed chainsets with a standard KMC 3/32 chain?
Blurb says on use 11 speed HGX chain only and something about chainline set for boost 27.5 bikes???

I'm using a SRAM 11 speed chainset singlespeed with 9 speed chain and no problems.

Not sure on the spacing thing, tbh, maybe you'd need to move the cog at the back out a bit?

Cheers 🙂
Going to get the SLX one and will fiddle with the spacers.

Can you get a 104bcd spider and then just use a normal chain ring (This is what I do with mine)?

Another good idea to think about. BETD do them as well. Cheers

Can I use this with my RS8 X-type cranks?

and

Will also need chainring bolts.

Thanks
