The shock on my new Whyte T129s shows a little oil on the shaft after use, the shop says this is common when they bed in is this correct? I have no experience with shocks as I have always had Hard tails..

Wiper seals on back of the air can are designed to run a little wet and there may also be some oil from assembly left over too, wipe it off and keep an eye on it, if it continues or gets worse after 3 or 4 rides it's probably worth getting a warranty inspection.

Thanks, that describes it quite well, its just come back from fishers as was initially loosing air..
