I need a new trail pump that is capable of inflating a road tyre to over 100psi, but can also do high volume mtb tyres: Any recommendations?

That's a pretty big ask but I've been having good results with my Leyzne Pressure drive. bit old school design wise having a rubber hose but it helps with not damaging the valve. good alloy construction and will do 100psi in road tyres with ease and eventually (not that long though) fills a 2.25 ralph.

The Topeak Morph pump range would have something to fit the bill

I have a Mountain Morph that is about seven years old an works fine with my road bike

Another vote for Lezyne. I've got a Micro Floor Drive HVG. Gets mountain bike tyres done quickly, but also did a decent job of getting road tyres up to pressure. As a high volume pump, it obviously gets very hard work as you get up to pressure, but it's solidly built, and the rubber tube means that you can put it on the floor and really put your back into it.

I'd still recommend getting two pumps, though.

Cranks brothers do one that swaps between high volume and high pressure. That said, it isn't that good though

Yeah I had one of those, and you're right: They are pants!

Looks like I'll check out the Lezyne range then
