[Closed] New FS frame to transplant HT stuff to?

Hey everyone,

I've got an On-One Parkwood X5 and was thinking about trying to pickup a FS bike.

I was wondering if there are any FS frames out there that I could essentially just strip the HT of parts and move straight onto the FS frame?

It may not be possible and may not even be financially viable but I'd be interested in hearing opinions. The obvious choice would be the On-One Codeine frame but wondering if there were any alternatives?

Thanks for taking the time to read.

No matter how hard you try you will inevitably have bits that don't fit the new frame so leave them on the old one. You will also notice that you have spars hanging around that would be better organised if they were hung off the old frame. This is the basis of bisexual reproduction.

Hmm so I think what you're trying to say is that I need to start brainstorming ways to convince the missus that I need two bikes..

Yes - buy the full bike and ask forgiveness afterwards! Had a short blast on one, they are pretty darned good if your fine with your clown wheels 😛

The thing with the Codeine deals is they're giving you a load of parts so transferring builds seems an odd way to do it especially as your current fork wouldn't really suit.

Grab that deal, add a 500eur Pike and some Superstar wheels and a budget dependent choice of drivetrain and brakes and you have a lot of bike for your money.

Could look at a Hammerhead thumper too.
