[Closed] New front fork - to go Boost or not?

I need a new fork, probably going with a Mattoc which is available in 100mmx15 and 110x15mm boost. Any reason not to go for the boost variant? I don't plan on running anything bigger than a 2.4", but with a mudguard fitted sometimes clearance can be limited on a "big" 2.4 so more clearance is better right? Any downsides apart from having to buy a boostinator for my hub?

100% go Boost, it's only going to get harder to find decent wheels, hubs etc in 100 x 15 over the next few years and it will make them much easier to sell on down the line.

There's also a slight bonus to stiffness and mud clearance and a slight downside in a bit of extra weight but the above would be my major concerns.

went non boost for the new forks on my hard tail recently only because ive got a chris king 100x15 hub that I wanted to keep using, could ve gone boost and replaced the hub but too costly and not convinced on the boost conversion kits for the existing hub

Adapter kit 7 quid from planet x means you can use existing hub and future wheel/hub purchases will be simpler

Boost wheel is stiffer because hub flanges are wider.
Non boost fork is stiffer because the crown is narrower & the axle shorter.

I made the latter part up but it sounds probable. ๐Ÿ™‚
I went for Boost forks though when my non-Boost ones went kaput.

I went boost when the time came, I don't have nice wheels at the moment, so when they need replacing I'll just go boost front, then I'm all set for the future, other than them being 650b...

We all know they're for kids bikes and these gravel things now.
