Hi,

Recently parted with my 2008 Specialized Enduro as i missed the feedback i used to get from my 90's P7. So in thr market for a modern slack hardtail build for South Wales trail riding. Just bought a showroom condition 13 Incline Delta in a small frame for a great price so the plan is to use the x1 groupset, rs brakes, wheels and revalation forks  but get a new frame, bar and dropper.

Was previously looking at getting a Whyte 905 but not available frame only. What sensible priced frames have equally good geometry and seeing as the cranks are bb30 pressfit how easy will it be to re-use.

Am thimking Bird Zero TR, Nukeproof Scout 275 and Sonder Transmitter but are any of these reasonable at going up as well as down?

Also would bb30 work iin all 3 or would i need an adapter to use the existing x1 crank?

Sell all that stuff, buy a 905.

The Bird isn’t press fit I don’t think - would imagine it’s a threaded B.B. ( my Aeris definitely is).

All of those frames should be pretty good. The Zero TR isn’t that long or slack - it’s the trail hardtail from Bird. Should as a result be a good all round bike. The zero AM is the more hardcore version.

I know someone with a Scout 290 - it looks really nice and he’s quick on it. I think he likes it and it seems to go uphill ok.

Not got any experience or anything to add on the Sonder.
