Bargain build off here and Ebay with a few new bits thrown in. Justified as "Winter Bike"

portable kitchen sink..?
Kiddies sandpit. True about the wonky leg though.
a winter bike with v brakes
Of course. People never used to ride bikes in the winter in the olden days. Google "retro" and "bargain".

See "indeterminate fluffy creature". She pretty much eats anything that's planted.

Don't be surprised if/when this becomes the most fun bike you own !

I love my fully rigid SS ('92) Kona - perfect for an evenings thrash out through the lanes. Mine gets ridden more than anything else I own.

Did Kona ever do a steel frame with discs and rigid forks? they all seem to be canti mounts.

I'm happy with the bike, what's bothering me is the very tidy garden. What sort of mountain biker are you?
