I have been slowly gathering bits for this build since buying the frame from the classifieds.
The plan was to go budget and used - almost all of the build either came from what I had already or from the classifieds.
This is seen a bit in component choice but hey ho 😀
Te plan is if I get on with the frame and big wheels I will add /replace as finances allow.
Seems that over the years On_One have had a bit of a bashing regarding their "cheapness" 😕
I have to say that this frame is very well finished - easily comparible with my old Swift and my current Soul.
The photos don't do the colour justice - its lovely in the flesh.
So here she is:
Comments/suggestions all welcome 🙂
Thank you to all of those that have contributed parts 8)
Saddle dear boy. It's a saddle, not a slide!
I've mentioned your 'rockery' before so will refrain from passign judgement this time.
shorten those brake hoses a bit though...
Ha 😛
Its one of the few things still to sort - there isn't even any grease in the ST 😳
I don't think the camera angle helps but I will look into it 😆
Tis an 'erb garden innit 😆rockery
Brakes only came today and will be shortened once I am comfortable with stem height, fork travel etc.
Does look a bit like spaghetti junction from the front 😳
I do like Maguras habit of fittign the same length hoses to both brakes to allow for Euro/uk left/right rear brake preferences but it does mean you have to halve the length of the front brake hose very time....
The hose came pre cut at 137cm & 82cm.
Both of these seem shorter than STD and given this is a 21'' frame god knows what full length hoses would have looked like! 😆
