Well I finally succumbed to the lure of a CX bike, it's been an itch I've wanted to scratch for awhile but was frightened of what might happen. Anyway I plumbed for one to get my fitness back as I can do a spin from the doorstep when the kids are at school and be back in good time.

Looking forward to riding it now as just collected earlier.

Big thanks to The Bike Place for you service and speedy build from it being delivered there this afternoon.

**** me how high are your bars.

It's as collected from the shop and seems ok having just been for spin. I'm 6' 2" but only have 32" leg so have a reet long back.

There is a lot of spacers on there, but if you need them that high then fair do's but rotate the bars round a bit.

It looks really short for the height, or high for the length.

If you were a school teacher you'd be called Mr Longbody ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

I followed nbt back from work today. All mostly off road, he rode some pretty knarly stuff on his crosser that I minced down on my On One.

Enjoy.

Had a feeling you were Drac when you picked the bike up (i was chatting to you about Hecklers and stuff). Now i can put a face to the user name.

Enjoy, any problems, just give us a bell.

Looks like that stem needs swapping round so it's a drop, not a rise. CX rocks, it won't replace MTB for me but it's a great way of spicing up the commute - nice and fast on the roads on the way in, fun offf-road on the way home. I think you'll enjoy it, Drac ๐Ÿ™‚

Nice one Drac. I didn't realise you had the same odd body dimensions as me - probably because I have a smidgin more 'padding'! I was tempted by the CTW scheme but built a Pompino instead from the classifieds - much cheaper ๐Ÿ˜‰

I wonder why Nodrog2 'had a feeling' you were Drac ? ๐Ÿ˜†

Aye that was me nice to meet you and cheers for sorting it so quick. Great service well recommend you. Woody worth looking when it comes back around and no can't think why he recognised me. I'm going to give it a check over tomorrow for full tweak to suit me.

Yeah nbt seems like great fun shuck the hell out of me for the first mile or so off road until I remembered how to use my body as suspension.
