Carry on over Barton Gates 40 years or so ago and there used to be Mitchell Cycles; I think they're still there now.
Wasn't there a road and bmx bike shop in the old Englands Glory estate down Bristol Road; are they still there?
And, talking about BMX bike shops, I see there's a small one in White Swan Court in Monmouth recently opened 8)

Mitchell Cycles are still there and so is Striking Bikes down at Morelands Ind Est.

I had a quick look around this afternnon. Nice enough place. Very shiny and friendly. Reminds me of the new shop at Cannop. I prefered Daves mess there! Striking bikes is still good if you can stay and listen to Paul talk! Good luck to the new place.

Just nipped in, seem very helpful, they have a seperate business for reflex bmx but are more road biased

they are however a giant / scott stockist and had a selection of 26/29" bikes in

if your after anything DH though its not the shop!
