This is my Airborne Liberator, it's new to me but I think it's a 2005 frame? Alloy version from the titanium builder.
I bought the frame off ebay and have just put a few bits on that I had spare.
First impressions feels quick and initial worries over 24" length top tube unfounded.
Built it up as a 9 speed, using a Middleburn ring, haven't had any issues yet with chain coming off.
Comments welcome on garden! It is a real cottage garden and its just starting to wake up, I promise you
it'll look great in a month or so 😀
i like simple bikes. That garden's a right mess though.
:o)
compared to the mav it's a work of art (i perfer you to ride the Mav though, you're slower!)
btw, aren't you supposed to be doing DIY??
..... haven't had any issues yet with chain coming off
Report back on that one when it does, you might be speaking a few octaves higher though !!
get a front mech locked in position of a chain device. that chain is gonna come off soon enough, and do horrible things to you.
i had a liberator a few years back, real smart looking frame for the cash
Looks good Matt, ideal for the local Col's... 😉
the upper gates might be open this weekend Boz!
Nice. I have one of those as a SS at the moment. Changing it back to gears soon. Very rare to see another one.
