Replacement for her Merlin Malt 1 (stopping growing would make life so much cheaper). A 2006 Kona Kikapu Deluxe bought from Scantregard, repainted and built up using bits in the garage and from her old bike.

Well pleased with the result

Ken
Are you near Milton Keynes, Just asking as they have great stuff for kids to do on Saturdays plus the Trek youth challenge in the summer.

I'm thinking of this for my 7 yr old daughter

[img] [/img]

Carrera Luna 24" Girls Bike
24" Wheel
6061 Aluminium frame
RST Capa T8 front fork with 50mm travel
SRAM 3.0 21 speed gears with twist shift
Front and rear disc brakes
Alloy wheel rims
Alloy Ahead stem

Looks good value at £179, what do the STW massive think?

I've no experience of that bike but I would suggest looking at the equivalent Islabike. They tend to have less heavy bits, suspension/disk brakes etc, but are really well designed for kids.
