The clock works a treat 🙂 been keeping perfect time for the past year or so. It's a stem captain.

Where can I get the stringfellow saddle though....

Gusset R Series
It's an ID product so most LBS should be able to get hold of it.

Aside from the awesome looks, I did 47 offroad miles on it yesterday and it's dead comfy. I've been a SDG Belair fan since forever and tried various other saddles, but this is the first one that's a keeper. Bonus.

Cables were taped temporarily CFH as I was trying to pin down an irritating cable pinging on rough stuff. Sorted now.

Truss fork should be with me today rossco....

You just have missed the other thread.

Sounded like he was a really popular chap and was given a great send off.

I wondered the same but seeing as the OP was on here 2 days ago it was either very sudden and a world record for fastest wake or Paul up there has his wires crossed. Or most likely a dark sense of humour relating to imagined catastrophic bike failures. Bad Paul.

I'm still alive!

The bike hasn't exploded underneath me yet. I still like it.

The MRP fork is now doing service on the front of my Pole, and the Ti is rigid SS. Much more capable than a rigid bike has any right to be.

The truss fork at 63 degrees with huge offset makes it really confident descending while still feeling nice and light steering.
Minion 29 x 3.0 on the front now for winter action.

My furry Gusset cracked a rail though, so has been replaced with a shiny new one 🙂

XACD

Would have liked to get the lot from Waltly but they don't do truss forks.
They made a fine job of them, it's just dealing with the fruitcake that is Porter from XACD gave me the jitters a bit. He missed a few of the modules at charm school. 😆

Great stuff. This thread inspired me to get a frame built by Waltly (slightly less progressive geometry!) and I’ve been delighted with it. Glad to hear yours hasn’t snapped!
